Install latest/stable of dell-bios-fan-control
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Install using the command line
sudo snap install dell-bios-fan-controlDon't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.
Allows to control the fans by bios or i8kctl utils.
Don't forget to connect plug "io-ports-control": sudo snap connect dell-bios-fan-control:io-ports-control
