Fast, lightweight, cross-platform disk usage analyzer
Drive Sonar is a fast, low-memory disk usage scanner built with Rust and Tauri. With Drive Sonar, go beyond a traditional directory listing and acquire a meaningful analysis of your disk usage.
Drive Sonar can:
- scan disk occupancy and usage at a given location
- present a navigable directory listing
- show the disk usage as a treemap
- plot a histogram of file types and sizes
- draw a size vs. age scatter plot to identify potentially older and large files
- print the scan report as a text file
- open file explorer in-app and allow moving files to the Trash after confirmation
For faster scanning speeds and a better experience, you can install the native .deb or .rpm files available on GitHub under Releases. Or try the installation commands available on https://drivesonar.download/
