Install latest/stable of fcal

Ubuntu 16.04 or later?

Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.


Install using the command line

sudo snap install fcal

Don't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.

Command line calendar display

fCal is a command line calendar utility. It will display a calendar on the command line with any month/year requested. Defaults to the current year.

fCal will also show/highlight holidays in your country (as reporting by the JVM) with the -d switch.
