Install latest/stable of forest-server
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Install using the command line
sudo snap install forest-serverDon't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.
Forest is a GUI for elasticsearch. This server application allows to use forest through a browser. For the desktop application use the snap forest-app.
