Install latest/stable of gdu-disk-usage-analyzer
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Install using the command line
sudo snap install gdu-disk-usage-analyzerDon't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.
Gdu is intended primarily for SSD disks where it can fully utilize parallel processing. However HDDs work as well, but the performance gain is not so huge.
