Install latest/stable of hexexplorer-snap
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Install using the command line
sudo snap install hexexplorer-snap
Don't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.
A simple program for exploring the 16 million or so colours available to you and their corresponding hexadecimal representation.
Written as a learning exercise to get familiar with programming in qml, it lets you select a colour using the RGB sliders and tells you the hexadecimal value.
This is the 'snap' version of HexExplorer - 'snapped' using the Snapcraft project option from the Ubuntu SDK.
(The size of the snap - coming in at about 90MB - is likely due to the fact that it is self contained and so has all the Qt components & libraries required to run it included in the snap)
