Install latest/stable of hwclock-svc
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Install using the command line
sudo snap install hwclock-svcDon't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.
Background service for managing RTC. On boot, the system time is read from RTC. On shutdown, the RTC is set to system time.
