rmadison is a great tool for showing which versions are available in the Ubuntu and Debian archives, but doesn't work for the Ubuntu Cloud Archive. cmadison allows one to query the versions of software in the Ubuntu Cloud Archives as well as the Ubuntu and Debian archives.

On Debian 9 (Stretch) and newer, snap can be installed directly from the command line:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
After this, install the snapd snap in order to get the latest snapd:
sudo snap install snapd
To install cmadison, simply use the following command:
sudo snap install cmadison
Browse and find snaps from the convenience of your desktop using the snap store snap.
