Control USB power on a port by port basis on some USB hubs.
This only works on USB hubs that have the hardware necessary to allow software controlled power switching. Most hubs DO NOT include the hardware.

Snap can be installed from the command line. Open the Konsole terminal and enter the following:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
To install hub-ctrl, simply use the following command:
sudo snap install hub-ctrl
Browse and find snaps from the convenience of your desktop using the snap store snap.
