netspot is a simple anomaly-based network Intrusion Detection System (IDS) written in Go.
The netspot core uses SPOT, a statistical learning algorithm that detects abnormal behaviour in network traffic.
netspot aims to be simple but credible, as a concrete real-world anomaly-based IDS. Snap can be installed from the command line. Open the Konsole terminal and enter the following:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
To install netspot, simply use the following command:
sudo snap install netspot --edge
Browse and find snaps from the convenience of your desktop using the snap store snap.
