A simple IDS with statistical learning

netspot is a simple anomaly-based network Intrusion Detection System (IDS) written in Go. The netspot core uses SPOT, a statistical learning algorithm that detects abnormal behaviour in network traffic.

netspot aims to be simple but credible, as a concrete real-world anomaly-based IDS. The early version of this work has notably been published at [IEEE TrustCom 2020](https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/stamp/stamp.jsp?arnumber=9343018&casa_token=zhnpr1HCWowAAAAA:haQDFfaj6b0iVPcLboPdC0wf9Mi-st994tmdpPQXazvCUx7FJ_VjzifnTRO9CW_DuhA5iba-6g&tag=1).
