Recordings and output go in Documents/Screencap Documentation Tool in your home folder by default; any folder in your home or on a removable drive can be chosen.

Snap can be installed from the command line. Open the Konsole terminal and enter the following:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
To install Screencap Documentation Tool, simply use the following command:
sudo snap install screencap-documentation-tool
Browse and find snaps from the convenience of your desktop using the snap store snap.
