The snap ships a minidlna binary and a webserver in DAV mode sharing a directory. To make files available via UPnP open dav://localhost/ (or the IP instead of localhost if you want to manage the files remotely) in a file manager and drop media into the dir.
Enable snaps on Raspberry Pi and install upnp-server

Enable snapd
On a Raspberry Pi running the latest version of Raspbian snap can be installed directly from the command line:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install snapd
You will also need to reboot your device:
sudo reboot
After this, install the core snap in order to get the latest snapd:
sudo snap install core
