Landscape Client
This is the (strictly confined) snap version of the Landscape Client. It can be used register, connect, monitor and manage an Ubuntu device, including Core, to an existing Landscape Server instance.
Details on how to get started with the snap can be found in this blog: https://canonical.com/blog/simplify-iot-device-management-how-to-add-ubuntu-core-devices-to-landscape
Full Landscape documentation can be found here: https://ubuntu.com/landscape/docs
Current limitations:
- The snap client cannot manage deb packages
- The snap client cannot manage users on Classic systems
Note: snap management in Landscape server is only currently available with self-hosted/on-prem instances using 23-08 or later. It is also available using a Canonical Landscape SaaS account.
