XP-era music and video player for the Linux desktop

Luna Media Player plays the music and video already on your machine, wrapped in the look of the desktop players of 2004: a library with tag reading and search, a Now Playing list, and eight flowing visualisations — Ambience, Alchemy, Plenty, Bars, Ocean Mist, Scope, Battery and Fire Storm.

Playback is handled by libmpv, so it opens essentially any format your system can decode: MP3, FLAC, WAV, OGG, Opus, AAC, M4A and WMA, as well as MP4, MKV, AVI, WebM, MOV and WMV.

No accounts, no streaming — it reads the files you already have.
