Mixxx, free DJ software (latest stable release)

Mixxx is free, open-source DJ software: mix tracks live with BPM detection, key detection, sync, effects, recording, broadcasting and support for hundreds of MIDI/HID DJ controllers.

This is an unofficial community snap. It is not made or endorsed by the Mixxx Development Team. It repackages the official Ubuntu 24.04 build from the Mixxx stable PPA (https://launchpad.net/~mixxx/+archive/ubuntu/mixxx) and is rebuilt automatically whenever a new stable release appears there. Mixxx is licensed under GPL-2.0-or-later; the source is available at https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx.

After installing, connect the manual interfaces you need: sudo snap connect mixxx-unofficial:alsa # MIDI controllers, direct ALSA devices sudo snap connect mixxx-unofficial:jack1 # JACK (optional) sudo snap connect mixxx-unofficial:raw-usb # USB bulk controllers (optional) sudo snap connect mixxx-unofficial:removable-media # music on /media, /mnt
