Mumps Studio - Professional development environment for MUMPS/M
A desktop IDE for developing and maintaining MUMPS/M applications, primarily for VistA healthcare systems: routines, FileMan, KIDS patches, a debugger and Git, on Docker containers or SSH servers.
After installing, connect Docker and SSH once:
sudo snap connect mumps-studio:docker
sudo snap connect mumps-studio:ssh-keys
- docker: lists your local Docker containers and connects to them (Docker from apt or the Docker snap).
- ssh-keys: lets SSH connections and Git over SSH use your keys in ~/.ssh.
Optional, for projects on external drives:
sudo snap connect mumps-studio:removable-media
These permissions are off until you connect them. They stay connected when the snap updates; removing the snap removes them, so connect them again after a fresh install. In the app, Help > Snap Permissions… shows what is connected.
Strict confinement. Projects live in your home directory. Git, the SSH client and the Docker client are included in the snap.
