Ubuntu 16.04 or later?

Install using the command line

sudo snap install nsntrace --edge --classic

Don't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.

nsntrace is only available on the unstable edge channel. It could break and change often.

Perform network trace of a single process.

This application uses Linux network namespaces to perform network traces of a single application. The traces are saved as pcap files. And can later be analyzed by for instance Wireshark.
