Install latest/stable of odcread
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Note: odcread is abandoned, tool https://snapcraft.io/odcey is supported replacement.
This program converts to plain text "Oberon compound document" binary format, used by the Black Box Component Builder, WinBUGS, and OpenBUGS. Also usable as text converter in git for readable diffs of odc-documents.
Usage:
odcread file.odc print file content as plain text
odcread - print content from standard input
odcread -add-to-git setup .git to use odcread as textconv for readable diff
