Pelagico is a 2D underwater survival / adventure RPG where you play as a fish trying to level up and defeat the squid boss.
Kill enemies to gain XP and level up, which grants higher damage, higher max health, greater speed, lower dash cooldowns and faster regeneration. The map is generated with Simplex noise, blending naturally between four ocean depth zones - each with its own features, quirks and enemies. The further right you swim, the deeper the ocean gets.
Controls: WASD or arrow keys to move and turn, F to dash. Dashing is the only way to attack - dash through an enemy to damage it.
Created by Vincent Chen, Lucas Liu, Justin Yeung and Jeremy Jiang as Team Node Zero for the Australian STEM Video Game Challenge.
