Install latest/stable of Proton Mail
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Install using the command line
sudo snap install proton-mailDon't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.

To use security keys, connect the hardware-observe and u2f-devices
interfaces.
sudo snap connect proton-pass:hardware-observe
sudo snap connect proton-pass:u2f-devices
