A plain-text notepad calculator with results beside each line

Type a calculation on each line and see its result alongside it. Quotient combines a plain-text editor with unit conversions, percentages, variables, complex numbers, matrices, financial functions and high-precision math.

Write expressions such as "5 km to mi", "20% of 150" or "sqrt(-16)". Define variables and functions, reuse earlier results, and click a result to copy it. Syntax highlighting, autocomplete and searchable help keep calculations easy to read and explore.

Includes light and dark themes, automatic saving, file import and export, and a command-line calculator. Calculations run locally without an account or internet connection.
