For armv7 (aka armhf) users: Due to Electron dropping support for prebuilt ARMv7 binaries, ARMv7 builds are no longer supported. The last update for ARMv7 builds for SimpliPlay was on August 19, 2026.
Note: If the app doesn’t run, try snap run simpliplay in your terminal instead of opening it through the App Center or your desktop.
For playback from external storage devices, run the following:
sudo snap connect simpliplay:removable-media
