Install latest/beta of spot-cli
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Install using the command line
sudo snap install spot-cli --betaDon't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.
This is a command line interface to control the Spotify client. A few
of the features are Play, Pause, and skip tracks and display artistist info
right from the command line.
