Install latest/edge of untrunc-anthwlock
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Install using the command line
sudo snap install untrunc-anthwlock --edgeDon't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.
Restore a damaged (truncated) mp4, m4v, mov, 3gp video. Provided you have a similar not broken video. And some luck. Improved version of ponchio/untrunc.
usage:
untrunc-anthwlock -s working-video.mp4 broken-video.mp4
