Install latest/stable of Vaultwarden
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Install using the command line
sudo snap install vaultwardenDon't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.
Vaultwarden is a Rust-based implementation of the Bitwarden® server API that provides compatibility with upstream Bitwarden® clients, perfect for self-hosted deployments where running the official resource-heavy service might not be ideal.
Features:
By default, Vaultwarden listens on 127.0.0.1:8000. If you would like to modify this, edit the respective values via /var/snap/vaultwarden/current/vaultwarden.conf, and restart Vaultwarden: sudo snap restart vaultwarden
