Turn-based WWI strategy on a hex map, from Mons 1914 to Amiens 1918
The Great War 1914–1918 is a turn-based strategy game on a hex map. Fight the computer in twelve battles on the Western, Balkan, Italian and Romanian fronts — from Mons and Cer in 1914 to Amiens in 1918.
- Play either side: attack or defend every battle.
- Weapons arrive year by year: machine guns, mortars, gas, tanks, aircraft and airships, each with its historical model name.
- Buy reserves and technologies before the battle, choose a deployment and dig in. Barbed wire, supply, transport, breakdowns and fog of war.
- Units gain experience, and veterans carry over to the next battle on the same front.
- In English and Croatian (hrvatski).
The game runs entirely offline: no network, no account, no ads.
