Uptime Kuma is a self-hosted monitoring tool similar to Uptime Robot. It provides a web UI (Vue 3 frontend) served by a Node.js backend (Express + Socket.io) to monitor the uptime of HTTP(s), TCP, ping, DNS, gRPC, MQTT, database and many other endpoints, with notifications, status pages and retention of historical data.
By default it stores its data in an embedded SQLite database (@louislam/sqlite3 native module) but can also connect to external MariaDB/MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MongoDB or Redis instances via knex. The web UI and API listen on port 3001 by default.
The data directory is set to $SNAP_COMMON, so the SQLite database, uploads, screenshots and logs persist across snap refreshes.
