West is the Zephyr RTOS meta-tool: a swiss-army knife command-line utility that helps you manage and develop Zephyr-based projects.
It provides multi-repository management on top of Git, letting you fetch and update the Zephyr source tree and its many modules from a single manifest. On top of that, West offers an extensible set of commands for building, flashing, and debugging applications, so the whole Zephyr development workflow is available through one consistent interface.
This snap bundles west together with its Python dependencies, providing a self-contained installation that does not require a separate Python environment or pip.
