Install latest/stable of dmd
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Install using the command line
sudo snap install dmd --classicDon't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.
DMD ('Digital Mars D') is the reference compiler for the D programming language. This package includes DMD together with the standard language runtime (druntime) and standard library (phobos). Some of the core developer tools (rdmd, dustmite, and ddemangle) are also included.
