An academic collaborative word processor

Fidus Writer is a webbased WYSIWYG word processor with realtime collaboration and export to ODT, DOCX, EPUB, LaTeX and HTML aimed mainly at academic text editing with support for formulas, footnotes and bibliography management.

You will want to create a user that has access to the administration interface. You can do that by running sudo fiduswriter.createsuperuser. To see more advanced management commands check out sudo fiduswriter.manage help.

By default Fidus Writer will run on port 4386 on your localhost. To make changes to the configuration, edit /var/snap/fiduswriter/current/configuration.py as root and restart the server by running sudo snap restart fiduswriter.daemon.
