Install latest/edge of logsync-receiver

Ubuntu 16.04 or later?

Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.


Install using the command line

sudo snap install logsync-receiver --edge

Don't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.

logsync-receiver is only available on the unstable edge channel. It could break and change often.

Channel Version Published

Run receiving server for http/https logs

Simple example snap to show how to receive journal messages from a device on a remote journal server.

Currently only the http (not https!) protocol is supported, this will soon be extended.

Log files can be found in /var/snap/logsync-receiver/current/ And can be read with:

sudo journalctl -f -D /var/snap/logsync-receiver/current/
