This is Office365 on Linux

Office20 is here! This is the free office suite you've been waiting for.

Created by the Abstract Developers in Qt5 and tested on KDE, Office20 is the perfect Office365 alternative for Linux, with a Ribbon-style interface, support for HTML, and Spectrum, the assistant which will allow you to write documents faster.

Now with Word, and PowerPoint and OneNote alternatives coming soon, you can enjoy the experience of Office on your Linux desktop, before it is released in early 2020.

After you install Office, make sure to enter the following command in your terminal, after the command prompt (represented here by the '$'):

$ snap connect office20:kde-frameworks-5-plug kde-frameworks-5-core18:kde-frameworks-5-core18-slot

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, BECAUSE OTHERWISE OFFICE APPS WILL NOT OPEN!

Enjoy using Office, and we hope it meets your needs.

NOTICE:

When evaluating the quality of Office20, keep in mind that is has only been in development for only a few months, and if it does not have a feature you want it is very likely that this feature will be added in the time from now to mid-2020.
