Install latest/stable of serve

Ubuntu 16.04 or later?

Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.


Install using the command line

sudo snap install serve

Don't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.

serve starts a simple temporary static file server in your current directory

serve starts a simple temporary static file server in your current directory and prints your IP address to share with colleagues.

Run serve -h to print its usage.

Press Ctrl+C in the terminal to stop the server.
