Install latest/stable of Sosumi

Ubuntu 16.04 or later?

Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.

Install using the command line

sudo snap install sosumi

Don't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.

Download and install macOS in a VM

Launch sosumi from the terminal to monitor initial launch setup. Subsequent launches can be done via the desktop icon.

This will boot to the macOS recovery system.

Notes:

Launch Disk Utility and format the main hard disk before launching the installer
Based on work at https://github.com/foxlet/macOS-Simple-KVM
Does not contain macOS, but downloads an installer image
Initially launches with VM memory set to 2GiB
Uses an editable launch script in ~/snap/sosumi/common/launch
Launches in a fixed resolution window
Bundles qemu-virgil to provide the VM
May be slow
Patches welcome :)
