Install latest/edge of unifi-unofficial
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Install using the command line
sudo snap install unifi-unofficial --edgeDon't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.
Unofficial snap package of the Ubiquiti Unifi Network controller software.
Just install this snap, wait a moment so it can create its databases.
Go to https://localhost:8443/ and accept the security exception in your browser to allow the self signed certificate.
If you see a lot of log spam about /proc/*/mounts from the snap, please connect the mount-control interface to quieten it.
