Install latest/stable of Zotero
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Install using the command line

about zotero 7.0
Currently zotero 7.0 is kept in the candidate channel. Please help me collect feedback about zotero 7, this will help promoting zotero 7.0 to the stable channel to cause less surprises.
