Install latest/stable of led-scrolling-display
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Install using the command line
sudo snap install led-scrolling-displayDon't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.
This program lets you use your laptop or desktop screen as if it were a LED display board
Type the text you want to scroll in the text Input
supply semicolon separated string for adjusting gaps between substring
eg: Happy Diwali;Subh Labh;Happy Chhata;Jai Laxmi Mata will be scrolled as Happy Diwali . . . . . . . . . Subh Labh . . . . . . . . . Happy Chhata . . . . . . . . . Jai Laxmi Mata if Gap is 10. (dot represents space)
Choose from various options provided
Changes take effect immediately
Double click Left mouse button to toggle full screen; Double click Right mouse button to place display back into the window
