Install latest/stable of o3de
Ubuntu 16.04 or later?
Make sure snap support is enabled in your Desktop store.
Install using the command line
sudo snap install o3de --classicDon't have snapd? Get set up for snaps.

Issue: Projects created from this package depends on libraries from the snap, such as glibc and libssl.
22.04 or above will need snapd to be installed with core20 as a runtime dependencyChoose your Linux distribution to get detailed installation instructions. If yours is not shown, get more details on the installing snapd documentation.
