The netlink-driver interface

The netlink-driver interface allows for operating a kernel driver module exposing itself via a Netlink protocol family, typically used to transfer information between the kernel and user-space processes.

Further confinement for particular families/protocols is implemented via Seccomp filtering network Netlink.
